- Storage Access (Android Storage Access Framework): We ask for permission to access specific folders (WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business status folders) to allow you to view, save, and manage statuses. We strictly access only the folders you grant us permission to view.
- Media Files: When you choose to “Save” a status, the file is copied to your device’s local storage so you can access it via your gallery.
b. Third-Party Data Collection
We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. The data collected by these third parties is governed by their own privacy policies. These services include:
- Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect data such as your Device ID, Advertising ID, and usage data to show personalized ads.
- Google Play Services: Used for core app functionality and updates.
- RevenueCat / Google Play Billing: Used to process subscriptions (Statify Pro). We do not have access to your credit card information or direct billing details; these are handled securely by Google.
- Firebase/Google Analytics (Optional): We may use analytics to understand app stability and crash reports. This data is anonymized.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Core Functionality: To display WhatsApp statuses and allow you to save them to your device.
- Improvements: To analyze app performance, fix bugs (crashes), and improve user experience.
- Monetization: To display advertisements (for free users) and verify subscription status (for Pro users).

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We only share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, please be aware that no application or internet transmission is completely secure. We rely on the security of your mobile device and the Google Play ecosystem to keep your data safe.
